Little Lyrebirds Speech Pathology

Hello šŸ‘‹šŸ¼ I’m Lauren.

A Certified Practising Paediatric Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia. I graduated with an Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Newcastle, NSW in 2009. I have over 10 years experience working in schools, community settings and private practice with children aged 0-18 years. I have worked in both Australia and the United Kingdom.

I am a part time, mobile practitioner who visits children and their families/caregivers for sessions in their own environment (e.g. home or school/kinder). I have specialist skills and experience in the areas of early language development, Autism, literacy, complex communication needs and Alternative and Augmentative Communication. I am also committed to multidisciplinary assessment/intervention and neurodiversity affirming practices.

I value the importance of client connection, relationship building and family centred practice. I am a motherĀ of two young children and have valuable experience in being a parent and managing intervention approaches to fit in with family life/everyday routines.

I am based in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges in Victoria and am able to visit clients living in Outer East/South East Metropolitan Melbourne. Please feel free to get in touch using the form below. I’d love to hear more about your child and how I can help.
